Dear Valued Customers:

As you understand the COVID-19 crisis remains a fluid situation.  We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and when necessary, make adjustments in our operations.  Within the scope of the recent orders from Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and others, Polymax’s operations constitute an “Essential Business” as defined by the order and federal guidelines.  ref. Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-19 (March 19, 2020 version 1.0)

At this time, as a manufacturer of many products that serve the medical, food and beverage, personal hygiene, medical packaging as well as transportation industries, PolymaxTPE will continue operations uninterrupted.

Our Procurement department team will continue to stay in contact with our suppliers to assure that the sources of our key raw materials continue to be uninhibited.  To date, we are not aware of any supply disruptions due to COVID-19.

Polymax’s management staff continues to evaluate our business continuity plans and assures that all employees continue to practice social distancing and proper sanitation practices, as directed by Federal and State authorities.  We have enacted the following rules for all Polymax employees until further notice.

1)      All non-critical travel has been postponed or canceled

2)      All employees capable of working from home have adopted this practice

3)      All plant visits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

4)      As workloads change any non-essential employee will be allowed to stay home, be on call, and paid their normal wages.  This will be evaluated on a daily basis.

We appreciate your support of our business and are committed to continuing to keep you posted on changes as they evolve.  Please feel free to contact your sales or customer service representative with any questions you have.

Best regards,

Tyler Xu
